Joining Blocks. Join edges of blocks together on wrong side with over and over sts using the same thread. Then work a row of sps all around spread. Make a fringe in each sp all around.

To Make a Fringe: Cut 4 strands, each 10 inches long. Double these strands forming a loop. Pull loop through sp on motif and draw loose ends of fringe through this loop. Pull tight. When fringe has been worked along edge, trim evenly.
