Next row: D c in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across, and continue in pattern to end of row. Ch 3, turn. Hereafter work in pattern straight for 1½ inches (thus forming center front opening), ending at center opening. Break off. Skip 36 d c, attach yarn to next d c and work opposite side to correspond, ending at sleeve edge. Do not break off, but ch 3, turn, and continue across entire row (thus closing front opening). Work in pattern as before until sleeve measures 7½ inches wide. Break off. Skip 48 d c of sleeve, attach yarn to next d c and work in pattern across to within last 48 d c. Ch 3, turn, and work Front to correspond with Back. Break off.
