All edgings can be Tatted or Crocheted in White, Solid, Shaded or Iridescent colors using American Thread Company "Star" Tatting Cotton or "Star" Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton sizes 60-100. 1 Ball of Tatting Cotton will be sufficient to make any of the following Edgings.

Make a ch the desired length and work one row of open meshes.

3rd Row—Sl st to center of open mesh, s c in same space, * ch 7, s c in next open mesh, repeat from * across row.
CROCHETED EDGING 1512
Over a rolled hem work 1 row of s c.
2nd Row—1 d c, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 d c in next st, repeat across row.
3rd Row—1 puff st in every other mesh with ch 4 bet. sts (puff st, thread over, insert in mesh and pull up the length of a d c, * thread over, insert in same mesh and pull up the same length, repeat from *, thread over and pull through all loops but one, thread over pull through 2 loops).
4th Row—2 s c in first loop, * ch 7, 2 s c in next loop, 2 s c in next loop, repeat from *.
5th Row—1 s c in each s c, 1 s c in loop, ch 4, 1 s c in same loop, ch 4, 1 s c in same loop, repeat from beginning.
