Rick Rack Edging No. S294 Pattern

Use J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 20 or 30, with No. 13 Rick-Rack Braid and Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 9 or 10.

SCALLOPED EDGE … Attach thread to first point of rick-rack. 1st row: Ch 6, dc in same place, * in next point make dc, ch 3 and dc. Repeat from * across, until piece measures length desired, having an uneven num­ber of sps. Cut off any remaining rick- rack. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in first sp, * ch 3, holding back on hook the last loop of each dc make 2 dc in next sp, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), ch 3, sl st in tip of cluster (picot made), ch 3, sc in next sp. Repeat from * across. Break off.

HEADING … Attach thread to first point on opposite side of rick-rack, sc in same place, * ch 3, sc in next point. Repeat from * across. Break off.
