J. & P. Coats Tatting-Crochet, Size 70: 1 ball each of No. 8 Blue, No. 9 Yellow and No. 48 Hunter's Green, or
J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30:
Small Ball:
J. & P. Coats—1 ball each of No. 8 Blue, No. 9 Yellow and No. 26-B Bright Nile Green, or
Clark's O.N.T.—1 ball each of No. 8 Blue, No. 9 Yellow and No. 48 Hunter's Green, or
J. & P. Coats Big Ball Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30: 1 ball each of No. 8 Blue, No. 9 Yellow and No. 48 Hunter's Green, or
Clark's Big Ball Three Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30: 1 ball each of No. 8 Blue, No. 9 Yellow and No. 48 Hunter's Green.
Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 13 for Size 70; No. 10 for Size 30.
⅔ yard black velvet ribbon, ⅝ inch wide. 20 rhinestones. 1 pair earring backs. 2 snap fasteners.

NECKLACEFlower (Make 11) ... Starting at center with Blue, ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring.
FIRST PETAL ... 1st row: 4 sc in ring. Ch 3, turn. 2nd row: Skip first sc, dc in next 3 sc. Ch 3, turn. 3rd row: Skip first dc, holding back on hook the last loop of each dc make dc in next 2 dc and in top of turning chain, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made); ch 3, sl st in tip of cluster. Now, working along side of petal, (ch 3, sl st in base of next row) twice; sl st in ring. Make 4 more Petals like this. Join and break off.
CENTER ... With Yellow, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring. 12 sc in ring. Join and break off. Sew Center to flower.
STEM (Make 10) ... Using Green double make a chain 1½ inches long.
Starch flowers lightly and press. Cut a piece of velvet ribbon 15½ inches long. Make a ½ inch hem on each end. Sew flowers evenly spaced to ribbon. Sew Stems between flowers. Sew a rhinestone to Center of each Flower. Sew snap fastener in place on each end.
BRACELET ... Make 5 Flowers and 4 Stems as before. Sew to remaining piece of ribbon in same manner.
EARRING (Make 2) ... Make 2 Flowers as before. Paste to Earring back.
