HANGER ... Starting at one end with Dk. Yellow and No. 7 hook, ch 12. 1st row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, (ch 2, skip 1 ch, sc in next ch) 5 times. Ch 2, turn. 2nd row: 2 sc in first sp, (ch 2, 2 sc in next sp) 4 times. Ch 2, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece is length of hanger. Last row: Sc in first sp, (ch 1, sc in next sp) 4 times. Break off. Slip hook of hanger through a sp at center. Sew securely around hanger. Wind thread tightly around hook and sew ends securely. (More)
FIRST PETAL ... 1st rnd: Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, half dc in next ch, dc in next 4 ch, half dc in next 2 ch, sc in ring. Make 5 more Petals in same manner. Break off. 2nd rnd: Attach Mid Pink to last sc and work around Petal as follows: * Holding back on hook the last loop of each dc, make a dc in next 3 sts, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (2 dc decreased), dc in next 2 sts, half dc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts, at tip make sc, ch 3 and sc; sc in next 2 sts, half dc in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, dec 2 dc, sc in the sc between Petals. FLOWER ... Attach Dk. Lavender to ½ inch bone ring. 1st rnd: 24 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc. 2nd rnd: Sc in each sc around. SECOND FLOWER ... With Lt. Blue work as for First Flower until 1st rnd is completed. 2nd rnd: In next loop make sc, half dc, dc, and 2 tr, sl st in corresponding tr on First Flower, in same loop on Second Flower make tr, dc, half dc and sc. Complete rnd as for First Flower.
Make 15 more Flowers in assorted colors, joining in the same way, leaving 1 scallop free between joinings. Join last flower to first flower. (More)
HAT … Starting at back with Ecru, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3, 13 dc in ring. Join to 3rd ch of ch-3. 2nd rnd: Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st, 2 dc in each dc around. Join. 3rd rnd: Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st, * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc (1 dc increased). Repeat from * around. Join. 4th rnd: Dc in each dc around, increasing 14 dc evenly around. Join.
