This stole can be made with any of the following:

"DAWN" LIGHT WEIGHT POMPADOUR
6 balls White
11 balls Baby Pink
or
"DAWN" or "CLOVERLEAF" NYLON
or
"DAWN" or "CLOVERLEAF" NYLON POMPADOUR
or
"DAWN" DACRON FINGERING YARN
4 ozs. White
10 ozs. Baby Pink
Steel crochet hook No. 0

With Pink crochet a chain slightly longer than 72 inches, 2 tr c in 4th st from hook keeping last loop of each tr c on hook, yarn over and work over off all loops at one time, skip 4 sts of ch, tr c in next st, ch 4, 2 tr c in 4th st from hook keeping last loop of each tr c on hook, yarn over and work off all loops at one time (rice st), skip 4 sts of ch, sl st in next st, * ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, skip 4 sts of ch, tr c in next st, ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, skip 4 sts of ch, sl st in next st, repeat from * across row, ch 9, turn.
2nd Row. Sl st in next tr c, * ch 5, tr c in next sl st between rice sts, ch 5, sl st in next tr c, repeat from * across row ending with ch 5, tr c in base of end rice st, ch 8, turn.
3rd Row. Rice st in 4th st from hook, s c in next tr c working over sl st of previous row, * ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, tr c in next tr c, ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, s c in next tr c working over sl st of previous row, repeat from * across row ending with ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, tr c in 5th st of end loop, ch 1, turn.
4th Row. S c in 1st tr c, ch 5, tr c in next s c, * ch 5, s c in next tr c, ch 5, tr c in next s c, repeat from * across row ending with ch 5, s c in 1st st after rice st of end loop, cut yarn, do not turn.
5th Row. Attach White in 1st s c, s c in same space, ch 7, s c in next tr c, * ch 7, s c in next s c, ch 7, s c in next tr c, repeat from * across row, ch 7, s c in last s c, ch 10, turn.
6th Row. S c in 1st loop, * ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from * across row ending with ch 4, tr c in last s c (this brings yarn in position for next row), turn.
7th Row. * Ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from * across row ending with ch 7, s c in 5th st of end ch, turn.
8th Row. Ch 10, s c in 1st loop, * ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from * across row ending with ch 4, tr c in tr c, cut yarn, turn.
9th Row. Attach Pink in tr c just made, s c in same space, * ch 5, s c in next loop, repeat from * across row to loop before end loop, ch 5, s c in 5th st of end loop, turn.
10th Row. * Ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, tr c in next s c, ch 4, rice st in 4th st from hook, sl st in next s c, repeat from * across row, ch 9, turn.
Repeat from 2nd row 10 times if Light Weight Pom­padour is used.
Repeat from * 8 times for all other yarns.
Next Row. Same as 2nd row.
Next Row. Same as 3rd row.
Next Row. Same as 4th row, cut yarn.

FRINGE: Wind Pink over a 10 inch cardboard. Cut one end. Using 2 strands, double in half and loop closely through chs at each end. * Take half of one group of fringe and half of next group of fringe and knot to­gether ¾ inch from 1st row of knots, repeat from * across row. Repeat last row of knots once. Trim fringe evenly.
