Ch 63. 1st row: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch (sp made). Make 4 more sps, dc in next 9 ch (3 bls), then work 11 sps. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: Dc in next dc (sp made over sp). Make 10 more sps, dc in next 3 dc (bl made over bl), ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (sp made over bl), make 1 bl, 5 sps, then work dc in next 2 dc, make a foundation dc in top of turning ch as follows: Thread over, insert hook in ch and pull loop through, thread over and draw through 1 loop on hook—ch st made to be used as a foundation st for next dc; (thread over and draw through 2 loops) twice—foundation dc completed. * Thread over, insert hook in specified ch st and complete another foundation dc as before. Repeat from * 7 more times; then thread over, insert hook in ch at base of last foundation dc made and make 1 dc in usual way (3 bls increased). Ch 3, turn. 3rd row: Dc in next 3 dc, 7 sps, 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc (bl made over sp), make 1 more bl, 1 sp, 1 bl, 11 sps. Ch 5, turn. 4th row: 11 sps, 1 bl, 3 sps, 2 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 2 sps, dc in next 2 dc and in top of turning ch. Ch 11, turn.

   5th row: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 7 ch, dc in next 4 dc (3 bls increased), then work (1 sp, 1 bl) 4 times; 3 sps, 2 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 6 sps. Ch 5, turn. Starting with 6th row, follow chart until 21st row is completed. Ch 5, turn. 22nd row: 14 sps, 4 bls, 8 sps, 2 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 3 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn (3 bls decreased). 23rd and 24th rows: Follow chart. Do not ch to turn at end of 24th row. 25th row: Sl st across next 9 dc (3 bls decreased), ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, then work 5 sps, 1 bl, 3 sps, 1 bl, 4 sps, 10 bls, 7 sps. Ch 5, turn. Starting with 26th row, follow chart to top. Repeat from 1st row of chart for length desired. Fasten off.
