Dandelion Seed Pattern

Materials Required:
AMERICAN THREAD "AUNT LYDIA'S"
HEAVY RUG YARN
No. 14 Floral Wire (Heavy)
Thin floral wire Green or Brown floral tape

DANDELION SEED

1—70 yd. skein Natural

Open and cut skein into 4 inch lengths. Take 1 group and a 5½ inch length thin wire. Fold wire in half and twist around center of strands. Open strands with a knitting needle, then brush until very fuzzy. (Quite a few brushings will be brushed away). Shape and mold with fingers. Cut a 12 inch length heavy wire for stem. Twist dandelion to top of stem and cover stem with green floral tape.
