1—70 yd. skein each Dk. Green and White
3—70 yd. skeins Black
Plastic Crochet Hook Size H OR ANY SIZE HOOK WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW
Shredded Foam Rubber or Kapok for filling; ½ yd. Lining Material

GAUGE: 3 dc= 1 inch (Rose); 3 s c = 1 inch (Pillow)

ROSE: With White ch 7, s d c in 1st st of ch (s d c: yo hook, insert in st, pull loop through, yo and work off all loops at one time), * ch 4, s d c in same space, re­peat from * 3 times, ch 4, join in 2nd st of ch. 2nd ROUND: Ch 1, *1 s c, 1 s d c, 3 d c, 1 s d c, 1 s c in next ch 4 loop, repeat from * all around, join in ch 1. 3rd ROUND: Ch 6, sc between next 2 s c between petals, * ch 5, s c in space between next 2 s c between petals, repeat from * 3 times, ch 5, join in 1st st of 1st loop. 4th ROUND: Ch 1, * 1 s c, 1 s d c, 5 d c, 1 s d c, 1 s c in next loop, repeat from * all  around, join in ch 1. 5th ROUND: Ch 8, s c between next 2 s c be­tween petals, * ch 7, s c between next 2 s c between petals, repeat from * 3 times, ch 7, join in 1st st of 1st loop. 6th ROUND: Ch 1, * 1 s c, 1 s d c, 2 d c, 3 tr c, 2 d c, 1 s d c, 1 s c in next loop, repeat from * all around, join in ch 1. 7th ROUND: Ch 9, s c between next 2 s c between petals, * ch 8, s c between next 2 sc between petals, repeat from * 3 times, ch 8, join in 1st st of 1st loop. 8th ROUND: Ch 1, * 1 sc, 1 s d c, 1 d c, 2 tr c, 3 d tr c (3 times over hook), 2 tr c, 1 d c, 1 s d c, 1 s c in next loop, repeat from * all around, join in ch 1, cut yarn. 9th ROUND: Attach Dk. Green in d c before the space between any 2 petals, two 3 d c cluster sts with ch 3 between in space between petals (d c cluster st: keeping last loop of each st on hook, 3 d c in same space, yo and work off all loops at one time), skip 2 sts of next petal, join in next d c, cut yarn. Work 5 more groups in same manner placing one in each of the next 5 spaces between scallops.

PILLOW: With Black work 2 sec­tions same as Pansy Pillow. Sew rose in position to center of top section. Work lin­ing and finishing same as Pansy Pillow.
