Doily measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. Materials: J. & P. Coats or Clark’s O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 20, White or Ecru. Doily measures about 9 ½ inches in diameter. Starting at center, ch 10, join with sl st. 1st rnd: Ch 5, * dc in ring, ch 2. Repeat from * 8 more times; join to 3rd st of ch-5 (10 sps). 2nd rnd: Sl st in next sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp as sl st; (ch 2, 3 dc in next sp) 9 times; ch 2, sl st in 3rd st of ch-3. 3rd rnd: Sl st in next dc, * ch 5, sc in next ch-2 sp, ch 5, skip 1 dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around, ending with sc in sl st. 4th rnd: Sl st to center of 1st loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop, sc in same loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with sc in sl st. 5th rnd: Sl st in next 2 ch, ch 4, 2 tr in same loop; * ch 2, 3 tr in next loop.
