1 ½ yds. Narrow White Ribbon
6 tiny Flowers

Dress Gauge: 7 patterns=2 inches, 5 rows= 1 inch. Be sure and follow gauge when working and do not work too tightly.

BODICE OF UNDERSKIRT: With White Rayon Crochet and No. 6 hook ch 39 rather loosely to fit around waist, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 4, turn.

2nd Row-1 tr c in each s c, ch 4, turn.

3rd Row-* 1 tr c in each of the next 8 tr c, 2 tr c in next tr c, repeat from * to within the last 10 sts, 1 tr c in each of the last 10 sts, ch 4, turn.

4th Row-1 tr c in each of the next 7 tr c, ch 8, skip 5 tr c, 1 tr c in each of the next 15 tr c, ch 8, skip 5 tr c, 1 tr c in each of the next 8 sts, cut thread.

Cut a strip of crinoline and taffeta about 4 ½ inches x 18 inches. Sew 2 short ends together to within 1 inch from top and gather to lower edge of bodice. Place on doll and sew or lace together at back.

PANTIES: With White Rayon Crochet and No. 6 hook ch 38 rather loosely to fit around waistline, d c in 4th st from hook, 1 d c in each remaining st of ch, ch 3, turn.

2nd Row-1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, 2 d c in next d c, * 1 d c in each of the next 5 d c, 2 d c in next d c, repeat from * across row ending with 1 d c in last st, join in 3rd st of 1st ch 3.

3rd and 4th Rows-Ch 3 (Counts as 1 d c), 1 d c in each d c, join in 3rd st of ch.

5th Row-Ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 10 d c, skip 21 d c, 1 d c in each of the next 10 d c, join.

6th Row- * Ch 3, s c in next st, repeat from * all around, cut thread. Attach thread at crotch and finish other leg in same manner. Work a row of s c around top of panties working rather loosely then work a row of s c around side opening, cut thread. Tie with ribbon on side.

DRESS: With Blue and No. 9 or 10 hook ch 50 rather loosely, s d c in 4th st from hook (s d c: thread over hook, insert in st, pull loop through, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), 1 s d c in each remaining st of ch, ch 6, turn.

2nd Row-D c in 4th st from hook, d c in next s d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next s d c, repeat from * across row, working last pattern in end ch, ch 6, turn.

3rd Row-D c in 4th st from hook, d c in 1st d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next d c, ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in same space of previous row, repeat from * across row, ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, join in 3rd st of ch 6.

4th Round-Ch 6, d c in 4th st from hook, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next d c (pattern), repeat from * all around ending round with ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, join in 3rd st of ch 6. Repeat the last round 14 times.

19th Round-Sl st into the ch 3 loop, ch 4, 2 tr c in same space, ch 3, 3 tr c in same space, * skip 1 loop, 3 tr c, ch 3, 3 tr c in next ch 3 loop, repeat from * all around, join in 4th st of ch.

20th Round-Ch 1 and work 1 s c in each tr c and 3 s c in each ch 3 loop, join, cut thread. Attach thread at waistline, ch 2, 1 s d c in each of the next 4 sts, decrease in next 2 sts (to decrease: thread over hook, insert in st, pull loop through, insert in next st, pull loop through, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), * 1 s d c in each of the next 5 sts, decrease in next 2 sts, repeat from * across row, ch 2, turn.

2nd Row-1 s d c in each s d c decreasing 3 sts evenly spaced (37 s d c), ch 6, turn.

3rd Row-D c in 4th st from hook, skip 2 s d c, d c in next s d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, skip 2 s d c, d c in next s d c, repeat from * across row, ch 6, turn.

4th Row-Work even in pattern same as on skirt, ch 6, turn.

5th Row-D c in 4th st from hook, d c in next d c, * * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in same space of previous row (an increase), ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next d c, repeat from * once, repeat from * * twice, ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in same space of previous row, work 2 patterns even, ch 6, turn.

6th Row-D c in 4th st from hook, d c in next d c, work 2 patterns even, ch 10, skip 1 d c, d c in next d c, work 6 patterns even, ch 10, skip 1 d c, d c in next d c, work 3 patterns even, ch 1, turn.

Next Row-3 s c in each ch 3 loop and 1 s c in each st of each ch 10, then work a row of s c around back opening, cut thread.

LEFT SLEEVE-Attach thread in 1st st of ch of armhole and work 1 s c in each st of ch, then work in s c around remainder of armhole working 3 s c in each row and 3 s c in each ch 3 loop of pattern (22 s c), join.

2nd Row-Ch 6, d c in 4th st from hook, skip 2 sts, d c in next st, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, skip 2 sts, d c in next st, repeat from * twice, ch 3, skip 2 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 3, turn.

3rd Row-D c in sl st, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, d c in next d c, repeat from * 3 times, ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, skip 2 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 3, turn.

4th and 5th Rows-Same as last row but joining last pattern in same st as previous row, cut thread. Work other sleeve in same manner.

Place on doll and tie together in back with small ribbon bows.

HAT-With Blue and No. 9 or 10 hook, ch 42, join being careful not to twist ch, ch 3 and work 1 d c in each st of ch, join in 3rd st of ch 3.

2nd Row-Ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c, 2 d c in next d c, * 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, 2 d c in next d c, repeat from * all around ending row with 1 d c in last 2 sts, join.

3rd Row-Ch 3, 1 d c in each d c, join (52 d c).

4th Row-Ch 6, d c in 4th st from hook, skip 1 d c, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, skip 1 d c, d c in next d c, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, d c in top of last d c made, join in 3rd st of ch 6.

5th Row-Ch 6, d c in 4th st from hook, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in top of last d c, d c in next d c, ch 3, d c in top of last d c, d c in same space of previous row (an increase), ch 3, d c in top of last d c, d c in next d c, repeat from * 11 times, ch 3, d c in top of last d c, join in 3rd st of ch.

6th Row-Work even in pattern.

7th Row-Same as 19th row of skirt.

8th Row-Same as 20th row of skirt, cut thread. Attach thread at crown and work 1 s c in each st, cut thread. Lace ribbon through 3rd row of crown lacing under 2 sts and over one st all around. Tie in back leaving the end of ribbon extend the length of dress.

Bouquet-Work same as bouquet for bride doll omitting ribbon.
