THUMBWork in short rows as follows: 1st row: Work across chain as for previ­ous finger, make 2 joint sc over next 4 sts of last row of palm. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Repeat Inc row. 3rd row: Work across thumb sts, make 2 joint sc over next 4 sts of palm. Ch 1, turn. 4th row: Work in pat­tern across. Ch 1, turn. 5th row: Repeat 3rd row of Thumb. For Sizes 6 through 9 only. Next 2 rows: Repeat 4th and 3rd rows. For All Sizes: Following row: Re­peat Dec row. Last row: Repeat 3rd row, ending with one joint sc. Break off and fasten.
BACK … Work same as Palm. Sew side and outer straight edges of Index Finger edges of Palm and Back, sew thumb together.
GUSSET … With right side facing, attach yarn to seam at tip of little finger. Work across outer edges of Back as follows: For Sizes 5 through 6 only: Sc evenly across tip of finger and along inner edge of same finger; sc along entire outer edge of all fingers to Index Finger seam. Break off and fasten. For Sizes 6½ through 9 only: Work as for previous Sizes, making dc's instead of sc's. Sew gusset to fingers of palm.
CUFF 1st rnd: With right side facing and working in the end sts around wrist edge, attach yarn in any sc, * ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in next st. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 1. Join with sl st to first sc. 2nd rnd: Ch 1, sc in joining, * ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join as before. Repeat 2nd rnd until length of cuff is

Gusset: Work as for Right Glove, attach­ing yarn to seam at tip of Index Finger, then work to seam of Little Finger. Com­plete as for Right Glove. Press through a damp cloth.
