Sew zipper to 2 opposite edges starting at bottom of these edges. (This is front of Bunting). Sew bottom of Bunting with neat over-and-over sts having zipper directly over center back of Bunting. If desired, trim zipper pull with a ribbon bow.

HOOD … Starting at front edge with 1 strand of each color, make a chain to measure 20 inches (4 ch sts to an inch), and work as for Bunting until 1st row measures 15¾ inches. Cut off remaining chain. Now dec 4 star sts at both ends of each of next 2 rows and 3 star sts at both ends of each of the following 2 rows—to dec at beginning of row, sl st across number of sts to be decreased; at end of row, work to within number of sts to be decreased. Center of last row is tip of Hood. Fasten off. Double this piece and sew decreased edges together.

COLLAR … With 1 strand of each color, make a chain 15 inches long (5 ch sts to 2 inches). 1st row: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in each ch across. Ch 3, turn.
