MATERIALS: J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen … Steel Crochet Hook No. 9 … Bone rings, 1⅜ inches in diameter and ½ inch in diameter.

SMALL RING … 1st rnd: Make 30 sc in bone ring, sl st in first sc. 2nd rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 5, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc. Re­peat from * around, ending with ch 5. Join and break off.

LARGE RING … Holding Small Ring inside Large Ring, make 8 sc in Large Ring, sc in any loop on Small Ring, * ch 5, sc in 5th ch from hook (picot made), 8 sc in Large Ring, sc in next loop on Small Ring. Repeat from * around. Join. Do not break off but make a chain 18 inches long. Double this chain and sl st in same place as last sl st was made. Break off.
