AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "SILLATEEN SANSIL"
22 60-yd. Balls Yellow.
2 60-yd. Balls White.
1 yd. one-inch Ribbon.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 9.

BAND. With Yellow, ch 161, d c in 4th st from hook, * d c in next st, repeat from * across row (158 d c.)
2nd Row—Drop Yellow, pick up White, work 1 s c in each d c. When changing Color, always complete st with next Color.
3rd Row—Drop White, pick up Yellow, ch 3, 1 d c in each s c across row.
4th, 6th & 8th Rows—Same as 2nd row.
5th, 7th & 9th Rows—Same as 3rd row.
10th Row—With Yellow, ch 3, d c in same st, ch 2, 2 d c in same st, * skip 2 d c, 2 d c in next d c, ch 2, 2 d c in same st, repeat from * across row, ch 3,turn.
11th Row—Work a 2 d c, ch 2, 2 d c shell in each 2 ch loop across row, ch 3, turn.
Repeat 11th row 18 times, then ch 1, turn.
30th Row—* 1 s c in each d c, 1 s c in 2 ch loop, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.
31st Row—1 s c in each s c, ch 3, turn.
32nd Row—D c in same st, ch 2, 2 d c in same st, * skip 2 s c, shell in next st, repeat from * across row, ch 3, turn.
Next 24 Rows—Same as 11th row, then ch 1, turn.
Next 2 Rows—Same as 30th and 31st rows.
Next Row—Same as 32nd row.
Next 28 Rows—Same as 11th row, then ch 1, turn.
With Yellow, work a row of s c all around 3 sides of apron having 3 s c in each corner, break thread.
EDGE. With White, insert needle in 1st s c below band, * skip 2 s c, 2 d c in same st, ch 4, sl st in 4th st from hook for picot, ch 1, 2 d c in same st, skip 2 s c, s c in next st, repeat from * all around the 3 sides of apron, break thread. Cut ribbon in half and attach to each side for ties.
