Materials Required: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "AUNT LYDIA'S" HEAVY RUG YARN, Article 235
4 skeins #306 Multicolor (Rust, Yellow, and Green).
1 skein Rust or colors of your choice.
2 plastic rings or wooden embroidery hoops 5 inches in diam­eter for handles.
Aluminum crochet hook size H.

With Multi-color starting at top, ch 34, s c in 2nd st from hook, * d c in next st of ch, s c in next st of ch, repeat from * across  row, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row. * S c in next d c, d c in next s c, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.
3rd Row. S c in 1st st, d c in next s c, * s c in next d c, d c in next s c, repeat from * 6 times, 1 s c, 1 d c, 1 s c in next st (center), * d c in next s c, s c in next d c, repeat from * 7 times working last s c in 3rd st of end ch, turn.
4th Row. Ch 3 (counts as 1 d c), * s c in next d c, d c in next s c (pattern), repeat from * 7 times, 1 s c, 1 d c, 1 s c in next d c, * d c in next s c, s c in next d c, repeat from * 7 times, d c in end st, ch 1, turn. Repeat the last 2 rows, always working 1 s c in each d c and 1 d c in each s c, increasing 2 sts in each row by working 3 sts in center st at point in each row until there are 73 sts in row (35 sts on each side and 3 sts at center), cut yarn.

Work another section in same manner.

With Rust crochet one ring to top of bag working 1 s c in each st of starting ch and working over the ring at the same time, then ch 3, work a row of s c around entire section working 3 s c in each of the 3 points, ch 3, join to 1st s c. Finish opposite section in same manner using other ring. Sew the 2 sections together picking up back loop of sts on each section, leaving 2 inches free on each side of rings.
