BLOCK–(Size–3¼ inches)–With Blue * ch 6, holding back the last lp of each tr on hook, make 3 tr in 6th ch from hook, thread over and draw thru all lps on hook (Cluster made), (ch 7, a 3-tr Cluster in 6th ch from hook) 6 times, sc between 4th and 5th Clusters from hook, ch 6, a Cluster in 6th ch from hook, ch 7, a Cluster in 6th ch from hook, sk next 2 Clusters, sc in ch-1 between Clusters. Repeat from * 3 times, join to starting st. Fasten off. ROW 2–Join White to ch-1 between Clusters out at end of one section, ch 8, tr in same st, (ch 3, tr) 5 times in same st, * ch 1, tr in ch-1 between next 2 Clusters, (ch 3, tr) 3 times in same st, ch 1, sk 2 Clusters (tr, ch 3, tr) in next ch-1, ch 1, sk 3 Clusters, (tr, ch 3, tr) in next ch-1, ch 1, sk 2 Clusters, tr in next ch-1, (ch 3, tr) 3 times in same st, ch 1, sk 1 Cluster, tr in next ch-1, (ch 3, tr) 6 times in same st. Repeat from * around. Join with ch 1, sl st in 5th ch of 1st ch-8. ROW 3–2 sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 4, sl st in last sc for a p, sc in same sp, (2 sc, p and 1 sc in next ch-3 sp) 5 times, * sc in next ch-1 sp, 2 sc, p and 1 sc in next sp, 2 sc in next sp, ch 10, sk 3 tr, (dtr in next ch-3 sp, sk 2 tr, dtr in next ch-3 sp) made into a Cluster, ch 10, sk 3 tr, 2 sc in next sp, 2 sc, p and 1 sc in next sp, sc in next ch-1 sp, (2 sc, p and 1 sc in next sp) 6 times. Repeat from * around, join to 1st sc. Fasten off.

2d BLOCK–Repeat thru Row 2. ROW 3–(2 sc, p and 1 sc in next sp) 4 times, * 2 sc in next sp, ch 2, sl st in corresponding p on 1st Block, ch 2, sl st back in last sc on 2d Block, sc in same sp *. Repeat from ** to * once. Sc in next ch-1 sp. Repeat from * to * once, 2 sc in next sp, ch 5, sl st in next ch-10 lp on 1st Block, ch 5, (dtr back in next 2 small shells on 2d Block) made into a Cluster, ch 5, sl st in next ch-10 lp on 1st Block, ch 5, sk 3 tr back on 2d Block, 2 sc in next sp, repeat from * to * once, sc in next ch-1 sp, repeat from * to * twice, then complete row as for 1st Block. Join and fasten off.

Join a 3d Block to 2d Block and a 4th Block to 1st and 3d Blocks in same way. Work as many Blocks as desired, joining in same manner. Stretch and pin finished doily right-side-down in true shape. Steam and press dry thru a cloth.
