Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

¼ yard red felt for lining and scraps of white, black, grey and blue felt for eyes...2 blue buttons; 3 black sequins and 4 small sequins; 3 white beads; 32 rhinestones...5 bone rings.

S-691 . . . Work as for Funny Face I, S-688 until Head has been completed.

MOUTH . . . With Spanish Red make a chain 5 inches long. 1st rnd: 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, 3 sc in last ch; working along opposite side of starting chain make sc in each ch across. Join and break off. Sew in place.

NOSE . . . With Spanish Red, work as for Head until 3 rnds have been completed. Join and break off. Sew in place. Cut eyes of white felt, eyeballs of blue felt and eyelashes of black felt. Sew in place.

HAIR . . . Cut 2 strands of Dk. Yellow Rug Yarn, each 3 inches long. Double these strands to form a loop, insert hook in any sc on top of head and draw loop through, draw loose ends through loop and pull up tightly to form a fringe. Make 13 more fringes, spacing evenly across top of head, then with a single strand of Yellow embroider bangs. Complete as Funny Face I, S-688.
