BODICE-With White ch 36, sc in 2nd st from hook, ch 3, sc in same space, * ch 5, skip 3 sts of ch, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc (picot) in next st, repeat from * twice, ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 dc in each of the next 5 sts, ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc (picot) in next st, * ch 5, skip 3 sts, picot in next st, repeat from * twice, ch 1, turn.

2nd Row-Sl st into picot, * ch 5, picot in next ch 5 loop, repeat from * twice, ch 4, working in dc, increase 1 dc at the beginning and end of dc group, ch 4, picot in next ch 5 loop, * ch 5, picot in next loop, repeat from * once, ch 2, dc in last picot, ch 3, turn.

3rd Row-Sc over the dc, * ch 5, picot in next large loop, repeat from * twice, ch 2, 1 dc in each dc, ch 2, picot in next loop, * ch 5, picot in next ch 5 loop, repeat from * twice, ch 1, turn. Repeat the last 2 rows once.

6th Row-RIGHT BACK-Sl st into picot, * ch 5, picot in next ch 5 loop, repeat from * once, ch 1, turn. Repeat the last row 4 times, cut thread.

FRONT-With wrong side of 5th row toward you, attach thread in 1st free ch 5 loop, ch 3, sc in same space, ch 4, 1 dc in each dc, ch 4, picot in next ch 5 loop, ch 1, turn.

2nd Row-Sl st into picot, ch 5, picot in 1st dc, ch 1, turn.

3rd Row-Sl st into picot, ch 5, picot in next loop, ch 1, turn.

Repeat the last row twice, cut thread.

Attach thread in last dc of dc group, ch 3, sc in same space, ch 2, dc in next picot, ch 3, turn.

Next Row-Sc over ch 2, ch 2, dc in next picot, ch 3, turn.

Repeat last row twice, omitting ch 3 at end of last row, cut thread. Sew the picot and ch 2 to corresponding sts at back section for shoulder seams.

LEFT SIDE OF BACK-Attach thread in next large free loop of 5th row, ch 3, sc in same space, ch 5, picot in next ch 5 loop, ch 2, dc in last picot, ch 3, turn.

2nd Row-Sc over ch 2, ch 5, picot in next ch 5 loop, ch 2, dc in picot, ch 3, turn. Repeat last row 3 times omitting ch 3 at end of last row, cut thread. Finish shoulder seam in same manner.

COLLAR-Working around neck, attach thread in picot at right corner of last row of dc group, 2 sc in same space, 3 dc over side of next row, * 3 trc in next picot, 4 d trc (3 times over hook) in next row, 1 d trc in joining, 3 trc in next loop, 2 trc in next picot, 3 trc in end loop, ch 3, turn.

2nd Row-Sc in same space, * ch 3, skip 1 st, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc in next st, repeat from * 8 times, ch 3, skip 1 st, sc in next st, sl st in 1st dc of dc group, cut thread. Attach thread in picot at opposite side of dc group and work other half of collar to correspond.

SLEEVE-Attach thread in picot to left of center free picot at underarm, sc in same space, ch 3, picot in next picot on side of armhole, ch 6, picot in next loop, ch 8, picot in joining, ch 8, picot in next loop, ch 6, picot in picot, ch 3, sc in next picot, ch 6, turn.

2nd Row-Skip the ch 3 loop and next picot, picot in next loop, * ch 8, picot in next loop, repeat from * twice, ch 6, skip the next picot and ch 3 loop, sl st in next sc, do not turn.

3rd Row-2 sc in next loop, 2 sc in next picot, 2 sc in next loop, ch 3, picot in next loop, * ch 8, picot in next loop, repeat from * 3 times, ch 3, join in 1st sc, ch 1, turn.

4th Row-Sc in same space, ch 3, skip the ch 3 loop and next picot, picot in next loop, * ch 8, picot in next loop, repeat from * twice, ch 3, skip the next picot and ch 3 loop, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc, join in 1st sc, do not turn.

5th Row-Sc in same space, ch 3, skip the next loop and next picot, picot in next loop, * ch 8, picot in next loop, repeat from * once, ch 3, 1 sc in each of the last 5 sc, join in 1st sc, do not turn.

6th Row-Sc in same space, then work 2 sc in each picot and in each loop, 1 sc in each of the last 5 sc, join, cut thread.

If necessary run a thread through last row to tighten sleeve. Work other sleeve to correspond.

SKIRT-With wrong side of 1st row toward you and working on opposite side of starting ch, attach thread in 1st st, ch 3, sc in same space, * ch 5, picot in next loop, repeat from * twice, ch 4, working in dc, increase 1 dc at the beginning and end of dc group, ch 4, skip 1 loop and picot, picot in next loop, * ch 5, picot in next loop, repeat from * once, ch 5, picot in last picot, ch 1, turn.

Repeat the last 2 rows 3 times. Repeat the last 2 rows 4 times but working ch 8 loops in place of the ch 7 loops.

Next Row-Same as 5th row but working ch 8 loops in place of the ch 7 loops.

Next Row-Work same as 6th row but work all ch 8 loops and 1 sl st in each dc, cut thread leaving a length. Sew back together as far as the 3rd row of skirt.

With Yellow “STAR” RAYON, embroider dc panel using a couching st for stems and lazy daisy st for petals. Sew sequins in position as illustrated.

CROWN-With Yellow ch 48, sc in 2nd st from hook, working over a 4 inch pipe cleaner, work 1 sc in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn.

2nd Row-1 sc in each of the 1st 10 sc, skip 1 sc, 3 dc in next sc, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc, skip 1 sc, 3 dc in next sc, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc, skip 1 sc, 5 trc in next sc, skip 1 sc, * 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc, skip 1 sc, 3 dc in next sc, skip 1 sc, repeat from * once, 1 sc in each remaining sc, turn.

Sew ends together. Sew sequins in position as illustrated, twist ends of wire together. Place on doll and sew to hair.

BODICE OF UNDERSKIRT-Cut a strip of satin 4 ½ inches by 1 ½ inches or large enough to go around doll. Hem 1 long edge. Place on doll below arms and sew short edges together.

SKIRT-Cut a 12 inch circle of crinoline and satin. Cut a hole at center large enough to fit around waist of doll. Place on doll, satin over crinoline and gather at top to fit waist.

WAND-Cut a 4 inch length of pipe cleaner and wind with White, fasten ends with scotch tape. Sew a sequin to top of wand.
