Materials—Linen 54 inches square. Hemstitched hem 1½ inches wide. J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 40. Lace 7½ inches wide, set in from edge 3½ or 4 inches.

Ch 157, turn. Follow the design until you have made 170 rows; last row tr in every st. Take same number of meshes on side and continue pattern.
