2nd Row. Working in back loop of st only, work 1 s c in each s c working 3 s c in center s c, ch 1, turn.
3rd Row. 1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn.
Repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows until there are 50 rows.
Next 5 Rows. Working in the same manner, decrease 1 s c at the beginning and end of each row, break thread.
EDGE. Attach thread in left corner at top of bib, s c in same st, * ch 1, skip 1 row, s c in next row, repeat from * down side of bib, * ch 1, skip 1 s c, s c in next s c, repeat from * across lower edge of bib, * ch 1, skip 1 row, s c in next row, repeat from * up side of bib, * ch 1, skip 1 s c, s c in next s c, repeat from * across top of bib, join. (There should be 99 loops around the 3 sides of bib.)
2nd Row. Ch 2, skip 1 loop, 1 d c in next loop, ch 3, sl st in top of d c for picot, ch 1, tr c in same space, ch 3, sl st in top of tr c for picot, ch 1, d c in same space, ch 3, sl st in top of d c for picot, ch 2, skip next loop, s c in next loop, ch 5, sl st in 4th st from hook for picot, ch 1, skip 1 loop, s c in next loop, repeat from beginning down side, across lower edge and up opposite side ending row with ch 2, skip 1 loop, d c in next loop, picot, ch 1, tr c in same space, picot, ch 1, d c in same space, picot, ch 2, skip 1 loop, sl st in next s c, break thread.
TIE. Ch 3, s c in 2nd st from hook, s c in next st, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row. 1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until work measures 10 inches, break thread. Make another tie in same manner. Sew to bib as illustrated.
