Requirements:
6 Ounces 3 Ply Nylon
1½ yard narrow (¼”) red velvet ribbon
1 small string blue sequins
1 small string red sequins
1 small string tiny red beads
1 small string tiny white beads
1 Steel Crochet Hook size 0
Row 1: Ch 90 sts, turn, into 5th ch from hook dc, * ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc. Repeat from * across row.
Turn — This row forms square holes (fillet stitch).
Row 2: Ch 1 sc across, ch 4, turn.
Row 3: Dc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc across, ch 4, turn.
Row 5: Same as 1st row.
Repeat these 4 rows as above making pattern until you have made 40 patterns.
DOLL TRIM
Cut cardboard 3½ in. wide. Wrap yarn around 30 times. Cut through one end.
Tie one inch below knot for head.
Cut cardboard 3-3/16 in. wide for arms.
Wrap around 15 times. Cut one end. Open doll in half and put arms through. Bring top down and tie under arms for waist.
Tie arms ½ inch from each end. Make 10 dolls 5 each end.
Tie arms of each doll connecting dolls together.
Tie dolls to stole starting with 1st fillet box and having 9 boxes between dolls.
Trim dress even. Sew 2 blue sequins for eyes using white beads to hold firm. Sew 1 red sequin with red bead for nose.
Cut red ribbon 5 inches long and tie around neck with double knot, then trim.
