1st round: Make 45 s c over ring, join with a slip st. Ch. 1, turn.

2nd row: Make 1 s c in each of the next 30 sts, ch 1, turn.

3rd row: 1 s c in next 5 sts, ch 5, 1 s c in next 5 sts, 1 h d c in next st, 1 d c in each of the next 2 sts, 1 tr c in next 2 sts, ch 5, 1 tr c in next 2 sts, 1 d c in next 2 sts, 1 h d c in next st, 1 s c in next 5 sts, ch 5, 1 s c in next 5 sts, ch 3, turn.

4th row: Over the ch-5 space make 9 trebles with a ch 1 between each tr c, ch 1, slip st to top of first d c on group below, ch 1, over center ch-5 make 13 tr with ch 1 between each tr c, ch 1, s c in 2nd d c on group below, ch 1, over last ch-5 space, make 9 tr c, with ch 1 between each tr c; ch 3, join with a slip st in last s c, ch 1, turn.

5th row: Slip st in center of ch-3 space, * ch 3, s c in ch-1 space, repeat from * 7 times, (this brings you across the tr c), ch 3, s c in next space, skip s c, s c in next space, repeat between * only repeat 11 times, (this brings you across the center 13 tr c), ch 3, s c in next space, skip s c, s c in next space, repeat be­tween * once, ending with ch 3, slip st in center of ch-3 space. Break thread.

Cord: Attach thread in center of the s c, make a chain 14-inches long, slip st in base of this chain. Fasten off.
