The creation of fine laces for church altars is an art that has been handed down from the middle ages.
About 160 yds. of thread are required to make one bookmark.
Lace measures about 1 inch deep. Completed towel measures 6 x 14 inches.
Lace measures 10½ inches deep. One pattern measures 10 inches wide; completed alb measures 3 yds. 2 in. in circumference.
MATERIALS:
Choose one of the following threads in size 70, White:
Clark's O.N.T. Mercerized Crochet, 6 balls.
Insertion measures 2¾ inches deep. One pattern measures about 1¾ inches wide, and requires about 52 yds. of thread.
Lace measures about 1½ inches deep. Each pattern measures 1⅓ inches wide, and requires about 13 yds. of thread.
When completed, mat measures about 12 x 18 inches.
Lace measures 31 inches deep. One pattern measures 20⅔ inches wide, and requires about 1320 yds. of thread.
