Pill Box Hat

These Hats and Bag can be made with:
“GEM” HAT and BAG YARN, Article 144.
2 skeins Turquoise or color desired.
2 yds. 1 inch grosgrain ribbon for either hat.
4 skeins Turquoise or color desired.
1 yd. 1 inch grosgrain ribbon for bag.
Aluminum crochet hook size G.

TURQUOISE PILL BOX
Crochet This Hat in 1 ½ Hours.

Ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 8 s c in ring, do not join this or following rounds. Place a marker at the beginning of each round.

2nd Round. 2 s c in each s c.

3rd Round. * 1 s c in next s c, 2 s c in next s c, repeat from * all around.

4th Round. * 1 s c in each of the next 2 s c, 2 s c in next s c, repeat from * all around.

5th Round. Working in s c, increase in every 4th s c.

6th Round. Increase in every 5th s c.

7th Round. Increase in every 6th s c. Work 1 round even.

9th Round. Increase in every 7th s c. Work 1 round even.

11th Round. Increase 4 sts evenly spaced.

12th Round. 1 s c in each s c, sl st in next 2 sts to even round, turn.

13th Round. Same as 13th round of bag.

Next 5 Rounds. Work same as 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 6th rounds of hat with brim.

19th Round. Sl st in each st, cut yarn.

Lace ribbon through meshes and finish with a bow as illustrated.
