MATERIALS:
J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MER­CERIZED CROCHET, Art. A.104, Size 30: 1 ball each of White and No. 126 Spanish Red.
Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 10.
1 card each of white and red rick-rack, Size 29.
A green bath towel.

Braid red and white rick-rack the same length as towel. Cut off any re­maining rick-rack.

SCALLOPED EDGE … Attach White to first red point on rick-rack. 1st row: * Ch 9, sc in next red point. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: 13 sc in each loop across. Break off.

HEADING…1st row: Attach White to first point on opposite side, ch 6, * dc in next point, ch 3. Repeat from * across. Break off. 2nd row: Attach Spanish Red to 3rd ch of start­ing chain, ch 6, * dc in next dc, ch 3. Repeat from * across, ending with dc. Break off. Sew to edge of towel.
