Materials: J. & P. Coats Crochet Cord or Clark's O.N.T. Knit-Crochet, 1 ball of color 68 Skipper Blue and 1 ball of color 26 Nile Green. Milward's steel crochet hook No. 4.

With Skipper Blue, make a chain 6½ inches long, turn. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook and s c in each st of ch. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: S c in each st across, picking up front loop only. Ch 1, turn. Repeat the 2nd row for the entire holder, making the striped pattern with Nile Green. Work 6 rows of Blue, 4 rows of Green, 2 of Blue, 2 of Green, 4 rows of Blue, 1 of Green and 1 of Blue, and the center stripe 2 rows of Green. Reverse pattern for rest of holder. Make another square and attach the two together with a row of s c around. Make a loop of 3 rows of s c.
