Flower. With Yellow ch 5, join to form a ring and work 10 s c in ring, join, break thread.
2nd Row. Attach Shaded Lavenders in any s c and work a petal as follows: ** ch 4, * thread over hook twice, insert in same space, pull through and work off 2 loops twice, re­peat from * once, thread over and work off all loops at one time (cluster st), ch 4, sl st in same space, skip 1 s c, sl st in next s c, repeat from ** 4 times, break thread.
Working from right to left work 2nd flower in same man­ner, joining in 2nd row as follows: work 1 petal, * skip 1 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 4, cluster st in same space, drop loop off hook, insert in any petal of 1st flower and pull loop through, ch 4, sl st in same space of 2nd flower, skip 1 s c, sl st in next s c, work another petal joining it to next petal of 1st flower in same manner, work 3 more petals, break thread.
Work a 3rd flower in same manner, joining it in 2nd row to 2nd flower as follows: work 1 petal, leave 1 petal free of 2nd flower (upper edge), join next petal of flower to next free petal of 2nd flower, complete flower.
Work 3 more flowers joining them in same manner as last flower.
Work another flower (center top flower) in same manner joining it in 2nd row as follows: work 1 petal, join next 2 petals to 2 petals of last flower worked, leaving 1 petal free for upper edge, complete flower, break thread.
Work another flower in same manner joining it in 2nd row as follows: work 1 petal, join next 2 petals to 2 petals of center flower leaving 1 petal free for upper edge, com­plete flower, break thread.
Continue joining flowers together in same manner from the 2nd flower worked for desired length ending with a center flower (beginning of corner scallop).
Work corner scallops in same manner working 5 center flowers, joining in same manner as 3 center flowers of previous scallops. Join last flower to 1st flower.
With single free petals facing upward, attach Green in free petal of center flower, ** ch 9, s c in next joining, ch 5, s c in next petal, * ch 9, s c in next petal of next flower, repeat from * 3 times, ch 5, s c in next joining, ch 9, s c in petal of next center flower, repeat from ** to center flower at beginning of corner, ch 9, s c in next joining, ch 5, s c in next petal, * ch 9, s c in next petal, repeat from * 5 times, ch 5, s c in next joining, ch 9, s c in petal of next center flower. Continue all around in same manner, working all corners same as 1st corner, end­ing row to correspond.
2nd Row. Sl st to center of loop, * ch 9, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around.
3rd Row. Sl st to center of loop, ** ch 13, thread over hook 5 times, insert in center st of next loop and work off all loops 2 at a time (d tr tr c), 1 d tr tr c in same space, * ch 1, 2 d tr tr c in center st of next loop, repeat from * 3 times, ch 13, s c in next loop, ch 7, s c in next loop, ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from ** to loop after center flower at beginning of corner, ch 7, 2 d tr c in center st of next loop, ch 1, 2 tr tr c (4 times over hook) in center st of next loop, * ch 1, 2 d tr tr c in center st of next loop, repeat from * twice, ch 1, 2 tr tr c in center st of next loop, ch 1, 2 d tr c in center st of next loop, * ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from * twice, repeat from 1st ** all around in same manner, working all corners same as 1st corner, ending row to correspond.
4th Row. 13 s c in next ch 13 loop, * 1 s c in each of the next 2 d tr tr c, 1 s c in next ch 1 loop, repeat from * 3 times, 1 s c in each of the next 2 d tr tr c, 13 s c in next ch 13 loop, 7 s c in each of the next 2-ch 7 loops, repeat from beginning to loop before ch 7 loop at beginning of corner, 7 s c in ch 7 loop of corner, 1 s c in each of the next 2 d tr c, 1 s c in next ch 1 loop, 1 s c in each of the next 2 tr tr c, * 1 s c in next ch 1 loop, 1 s c in each of the next 2 d tr tr c, repeat from * twice, 1 s c in next ch 1 loop, 1 s c in each of the next 2 tr tr c, 1 s c in next ch 1 loop, 1 s c in each of the next 2 d tr c, 7 s c in each of the next 3-ch 7 loops, continue all around in same manner work­ing all corners same as 1st corner, join.
