Crochet these cute Hot Pans Holders. • They are firm and heavy to protect from hot pans and kettles. • To be crocheted of Enterprise Yarn in kitchen colors, with top band and ruffle in white • you can make a lot of fun with "Hot Pans" Holders.

MATERIALS: 80 yds. color and 35 yds. White for trim to make a pair. Steel Crochet Hook No. 1.
RUFFLE: With White ch 4, 3 sc on ch, (ch 1, turn, sc in back loop of last 3 sts) repeat to com­plete 20 rows in all (10 ribs). Join color thru 2 loops of last sc. Fasten off White.
PANTS: Work along side edge of ribs (at end of rows). Ch 1, sc in end of same (last) row, sc in end of next row, (2 sc in end of next rib, sc in end of each of next 2 ribs) repeat across (14 sc). Work in both loops of sts to complete holder.
ROW 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across, 2 sc in end st (15 sc).
ROW 3: Ch 3, turn, 2 sc on ch, sc in each st across, 2 sc in end st (18 sc).
ROW 4 thru ROW 10: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
ROW 11: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across to within 2 sts at end of row, draw up loop in each of 2 end sts, thread over and thru all 3 loops on hook at once (a decrease).
ROW 12: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Repeat Rows 11 and 12 until 22 rows in all are complete. Fasten off.
Make a second piece in the same way. Place straight edges side by side and sew together.
BAND: With White make sc in each of first 4 sc at top right, (sk 1 sc, sc in next 4 sts) repeat across (20 sc in all). Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Fasten off. Steam and press on wrong side. Pad slightly and line.
Sew small white buttons to each side of top just below Band. Attach a bone ring to top center of band. Repeat for a second holder.
