Row 2—Ch 3, * 1 d c in first st, 2 d c in next st; repeat from *, join with a sl st. Row 3—Ch 3, * 1 d c, ch 2, 1 d c in first st, 1 d c around the post of the d c of previous row; repeat from *, join with a sl st. Row 4—Ch 3, * 2 d c, ch 2, 2 d c over the ch 2 of previous row, 1 d c around the post of previous row; repeat from *, join with a sl st. Row 5—Repeat Row 4. Row 6—Repeat Row 4. Row 7—Repeat Row 4, having 3 d c, ch 2, 3 d c instead of 2 d c. Row 8—Repeat Row 7. Row 9—Repeat Row 7. Work a corresponding piece. Join the 2 pieces tog. around 12 shells with a row of s c.

HANDLE—Ch 7, join with a sl st. Work 1 sl st in each ch st. Continue working round and round in sl st for desired length. Run cable cord through handle if desired. Attach to bag as illustrated.
