Attach thread to first free loop on last strip, sc in same place, * ch 1, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across, make 3 sc in last loop and, working across narrow edge, sc closely across, make 3 sc in first free loop on First Strip and complete other sides to correspond. Join and break off.

Sew corner strips in place to form an inverted pleat at each corner. Attach thread to top edge and sc closely around. Join and break off. Sew top piece in place.
