Two-Color Edging Pattern #8231
Two-color edging—suggest Yellow and Sport Green.
With light color, make a chain slightly longer than desired length. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook, s c in each ch across (there should be a multiple of 4 sts, plus 1). Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: S c in 1st s c, * ch 5, skip 3 s c, s c in next s c. Repeat from * across. Fasten off. 3rd row: Attach dark color to 1st s c made on 2nd row, ch 3; * in next loop make 3 d c, ch 3, 3 d c; s c in next loop. Repeat from * across. Fasten off. With light color make a tassel in each ch-3 sp across, as follows: Cut 8 strands, each about 5 inches long. Double these strands, forming a loop. With wrong side of edging toward you, pull loop through ch-3 sp and draw loose ends through this loop. Pull tight.
