Two-Color Edging Pattern #8360
Two-color edging—suggest French Blue and Dark Navy.
Starting at center, with dark color ch 7, join with sl st to form ring. Fan. 1st rnd: 15 s c in ring. 2nd rnd: S c in each s c around. Fasten off. Attach light color to 1 s c, s c in same st, * ch 1, s c in next s c. Repeat from * until 5 ch-1 sps are made. Ch 11, turn. 3rd rnd: S c in 1st ch-1 sp, * s c in next ch-1 sp, ch 11, s c in same sp, ch 11. Repeat from * across (5 loops). Fasten off. Make necessary number of fans. Attach dark color to 1st light-color loop and in each ch-11 loop of fan make 2 s c, half d c and 2 s c; 2 s c in ch-11 loop of next fan, half d c and 2 s c in same loop, and continue thus across, joining each fan as 2nd was joined to 1st. Fasten off.
HEADING … Attach light color to center s c of ring, * ch 6, d tr between 2 fans, ch 6, s c in center s c of next ring. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
