2 tubes of Main Color, 1 tube of Contrasting Color.
DRITZ Steel Crochet Hook No. 0 (Zero).
DRITZ Bag Lining No. 774 (Zipper Top).
DRITZ Ornamental Zipper Pull.

GAUGE: 4 1/2 sts make 1".

PRIDE 'N JOY BAG--No. 791

BAG PIECE: With Main Color, ch 4. Join with sl st to form ring.

1st rnd: 10 sc in ring. Mark last of each rnd.

2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc (20 sc).

3rd rnd: Sc in each sc (20 sc).

4th rnd: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (an inc.). Repeat from * (30 sc).

5th rnd: * Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc (an inc.). Repeat from * (40 sc).

6th rnd: Insert hook in next sc and pull loop through, drop Main Color, pick up Contrasting Color and pull Contrasting Color through 2 loops on hook (always change color in this way), * count back 2 sc, insert hook in base of the next sc on the last rnd and pull loop through, insert hook in base of next sc (to the left) on next to the last rnd and pull loop through, skip 2 sc, insert hook in base of next sc on the last rnd and pull loop through, y o and draw through all 4 loops on hook (a flower st made), skip the sc behind the flower st, sc in next 4 sc. Repeat from * changing color in last sc (40 sts in all--8 flower sts).

7th, 8th and 9th rnds: Sc around increasing 7 sc on each rnd.

10th rnd: Sc around increasing 9 sc on rnd (70 sc).

11th rnd: Repeat 6th rnd (14 flower sts).

12th to 16th rnds: Repeat 7th to 11th rnds (100 sts in all--20 flower sts).

17th to 21st rnd: Repeat 7th to 11th rnds (130 sts--26 flower sts).

22nd to 26th rnds: Repeat 7th to 11th rnds (160 sts--32 flower sts).

27th to 31st rnds: Repeat 7th to 11th rnds (190 sts--38 flower sts).

32nd to 35th rnds: Sc in each sc increasing 5 sc on each rnd (210 sc).

36th rnd: Repeat 6th rnd (42 flower sts).

37th and 38th rnds: Sc in each sc. End off and press.

End--(make 2): With Main Color work same as End on Bag No. 789. Finish same as Bag No. 789.
