J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen: 1 ball each of No. 25 Crystal Blue, No. 70 Blue Jewel, No. 68 Skipper Blue, No. 43 Dk. Yellow, No. 9 Yellow, No. 46-A Mid Rose, No. 65 Beauty Pink, No. 124 Indian Pink, No. 126 Spanish Red and No. 48 Hunter's Green.

Large Daisy (Make 10); Medium Daisy (Make 9); Small Daisy (Make 13); Half Daisy (Make 8). See pic­ture for color arrangement.

LARGE DAISY ... Starting at cen­ter, ch 10. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: 18 sc in ring. Join. 2nd rnd: * Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, half dc in each ch across, sl st in next sc on ring (petal made). Repeat from * around, ending with sl st at base of first sc (18 petals).

CENTER ... Starting at center, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3, 19 dc in ring. Join. 2nd rnd: Sc in each dc around. Join and break off.

MEDIUM DAISY ... Starting at center, ch 7. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: 12 sc in ring. Join. 2nd rnd: Ch 8 and complete as for petals on Large Daisy (12 petals).

CENTER ... Work as for Center of Large Daisy until the 1st rnd is completed. Break off.

SMALL DAISY ... Starting at cen­ter, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: 10 sc in ring. Join. 2nd rnd: * Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st in next sc on center. Repeat from * around. Join and break off (10 petals).

CENTER ... Starting at center, ch 2. 1st rnd: 10 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join and break off.

HALF DAISY ... Starting at cen­ter, ch 7. 1st row: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in each ch across. Ch 10, turn. 2nd row: Complete petal as for Large Daisy, skip first sc, sl st in next sc, * ch 10, make another petal, sl st in next sc. Repeat from * across, end­ing with sl st in last sc (11 petals). Break off.

CENTER ... Starting at center, ch 4. 1st row: 10 dc in 4th ch from hook. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in each dc across. Break off.

   Sew Daisies and Centers to towels and washcloth as in illustration.
