EDGING No. 8381-A … Two-color edging—suggest White and Pink.
With light color make a chain slightly longer than desired length. 1st row: 2 tr in 5th ch from hook, ch 2, 3 tr in same ch, * ch 1, skip 5 ch, in next ch make 3 tr, ch 2 and 3 tr. Repeat from * across. Ch 2, turn. 2nd and 3rd rows: * In next ch-2 sp make 3 tr, ch 2 and 3 tr, ch 1. Repeat from * across. Fasten off after 3rd row. 4th row: Attach dark color to 1st ch-2 sp, ch 4, 2 tr in same sp, ch 5, sl st in 4th ch from hook (a p made), ch 1, 3 tr in same sp, ch 3, * s c in ch-1 (between tr-groups), ch 3, s c in ch-1 of 2nd row, ch 3, s c in ch-1 of 1st row, ch 3, s c in 3rd ch of foundation ch, ch 3, turn, s c in ch-1 of 1st row, ch 3, s c in ch-1 of 2nd row, ch 3, s c in ch-1 of 3rd row, ch 3; in ch-2 sp make 3 tr, ch 1, p, ch 1 and 3 tr; ch 3. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
INSERTION No. 8381-B … Two-color insertion—suggest White and Pink.
Work as for edging to 4th row incl. Fasten off. Attach thread to foundation chain and work 4 more rows along opposite side of foundation. Fasten off.
