SUGGESTED MATERIALS FOR CURTAIN PULLS

"Star" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Medium or Large Balls size 3, 5 or 10.
"Trojan" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. 66 "Gem" Mercerized Crochet Cotton size 10.
"Puritan" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. "De Luxe" Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.

Materials Required. About 30 yds. of Thread.
1 ⅞-inch Bone Ring.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 or 11.

Work 40 s c over ring, join.
2nd Row—Ch 4, skip 1 s c, d c in next s c, * ch 1, skip 1 s c, d c in next s c, repeat from * 6 times (8 meshes) ch 3, turn.
3rd Row—2 d c in same space with ch, * ch 3, skip 1 d c, 3 d c in next d c, repeat from * 3 times, ch 3, turn.
4th Row—1 d c in same space with ch, 2 d c in each remaining d c, ch 3, turn.
5th Row—1 d c in each d c with ch 1 between each d c, ch 1, turn.
6th Row—Work a picot at corner then over the first 9 meshes work 2 s c in each mesh with picot after every 5th s c, break thread and repeat over last 9 meshes.

Finish the center 9 meshes with a fringe. Take five 6-inch strands, double them and knot through mesh.

CORD. Fasten thread in center of plain part of ring, ch for desired length, sl st into 10th st from hook, * ch 5, skip 4 sts of ch, sl st in next st, repeat from * for entire length and fasten securely in same space with ch.
