16-80 yd. Skeins Black.
18-80 yd. Skeins Red.
4-80 yd. Skeins Green.
7-80 yd. Skeins Beige.
9-80 yd. Skeins Yellow.  
For smaller size rug use "STAR" Cotton Yarn, Article 75.
13-100 yd. Skeins Black.
15-100 yd. Skeins Red.
4-100 yd. Skeins Dark Green.
6-100 yd. Skeins Light Green instead of Beige.
8-100 yd. Skeins Yellow.
Steel Crochet Hook Size J for large rug.
Steel Crochet Hook Size G for small rug.
Large rug measures about 63 x 46 inches.
Rug is worked with double strand of yarn.

With Black ch 136, 1 d c in 6th st from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 st of ch, d c in next st, repeat from * across row, ch 4, turn. (75 meshes.)
2nd Row. D c in next d c, * ch 1, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row, ch 4, turn.
3rd & 4th Rows. Same as 2nd row, break Black. (When changing color always complete the last half of st with next color.)
5th Row. Attach Beige and work same as 2nd row, break Beige.
Continue working in same manner working next 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Black, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Red, 3 rows Black, * 2 rows Red, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Black, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 3 rows Black, repeat from *, * 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Black, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Red, 3 rows Black, repeat from *, 2 rows Red, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Black, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 1 row Beige, 4 rows Black, break yarn.
The pattern is darned in using 4 strands of yarn through each mesh lengthwise working over 1 d c and under the next d c, allowing 10 inches of yarn at each end for fringe. Reverse the over and under of every other row of meshes. Starting in center 3 meshes darn 3 rows Black, 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Black, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Red, 3 rows Black, 2 rows Red, 2 rows Yellow, 2 rows Black, 1 row Beige, 1 row Green, 1 row Beige, 2 rows Red, 1 row Yellow, 2 rows Red, 1 row Beige, 4 rows Black. Darn other side to correspond.
Fringe. Knot 1st 6 strands of yarn together then knot 4 strands each time ending with 6 strands. Trim evenly.
