Fasten off. Make another piece like this.

To Assemble … Sew edges of body together, leaving neck section open. Stuff firmly with batting. Sew edges of head together, stuffing with batting before closing opening (seam is center front of face). Cut a ¾-inch triangle of felt, and sew to head, having 1 point at seam. With full strand of Six Strand embroider eyes. Set head into neck opening of body and sew in place. Cut 2 pieces of felt, same size as wings, and line wings. Sew wings to body, felt being underside. Pull wire through base of body. Make a ¾-inch loop at each end of wire for base of feet (thus both legs and feet are made of 1 wire). Cut 4 feet of felt, each having 5 points and slightly longer than wire base of foot. Sew 1 piece to bottom of each wire base and one to top, slitting top piece as necessary to accommodate leg wires; cover leg wires with Pearl Cotton. Cut a narrow strip of felt for collar and bow. Sew these around neck.
