To begin, make a chain slightly longer than desired length. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook, s c in each ch across. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: Tr in 1st s c * keeping the last 2 loops on hook; make another tr in same s c, working off 2 loops at a time twice, then work off remaining 3 loops once (a cluster). Skip 5 s c, tr in next s c, working off 2 loops at a time twice; make another tr in same s c, working off 2 loops at a time twice (3 loops on hook). Work off all 3 loops once (a cluster). Ch 5, s c in same s c. Ch 5, tr in same s c. Repeat from * across, ending row with skip 5 ch, 3 tr in last s c (working off loops as before), turn. 3rd row: Ch 5, 2 tr as before in top of joining of clusters on previous row, ch 6, 3-tr cluster in same joining, turn, s c in each ch of ch-6. Ch 1, turn. S c in 1st s c, * ch 4, s c in next s c. Repeat from * across remaining ch's. Make a 3-tr cluster in top of next joining and continue across row in same manner. Break off.
