Starting at narrow end with Light, ch 6. 1st row: In 6th ch from hook make dc, ch 2 and dc. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: In ch-2 sp make dc, ch 2 and dc. Ch 5, turn. Repeat 2nd row for desired length, having a multiple of 4 plus 1 groups. Fasten off.

SCALLOPS … 1st row: Attach Light in 1st loop on end. Ch 1, sc in same loop, * ch 1, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook make 2 tr in next loop, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (2-tr cluster made); (ch 5, 2-tr cluster in same loop) 3 times; ch 1, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in 1st sc, * sc in ch-1 sp, sc in top of cluster, 5 sc in next loop, in next loop make 3 sc, ch 2 and 3 sc, 5 sc in next loop, sc in top of cluster, sc in ch-1 sp. Repeat from * across, ending with sc in last sc. Fasten off. 3rd row: With right side of clusters facing, attach Dark in 1st sc of last row, ch 1, sc in same place where thread was attached, sk next sc, * sc in each sc to ch-2 sp, in ch-2 sp make sc, ch 2 and sc, sc in next 9 sc; sk 2 sc. Repeat from * across. Fasten off. 4th row: Attach Light in 1st sc of last row and repeat 3rd row. Fasten off. 5th row: Attach Dark in 1st sc, ch 1, sc in same place, sk next sc, * sc in next 2 sc, ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hook (p made), sc in next 4 sc, p, sc in next 3 sc, in next ch-2 sp make sc, 3 p's and sc, sc in next 3 sc, p, sc in next 4 sc, p, sc in next 2 sc, sk 2 sc. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.

HEADING … Attach Light in 1st loop on opposite side, ch 1, sc in same loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
