Towel Edging Pattern, No. 8189

Materials: Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Pearl Cotton, size 5, 2 balls.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 7.

Make a chain to measure slightly longer than length desired, turn. 1st row: S c in 3rd ch from hook, s c in each ch across. Ch 4, turn. 2nd row: Make a 3 tr-cluster in 1st s c, * skip 3 s c, 3 tr-cluster in next s c, ch 2, cluster in same place. Repeat from * across. Ch 4, turn. 3rd row: Cluster between 1st 2 clusters, * ch 2, cluster in same place, cluster between next 2 clusters. Repeat from * across. Ch 3, turn. 4th row: S c in tip of cluster, * 2 s c in ch-2 sp, s c in tip of next cluster, ch 3, s c in same place. Repeat from * across. Break off. Sew edging to towel. Work opposite end to correspond.
